I’m literally not going to do this obviously but surely you must be able to buy weed killer through the post because of places like Amazon 🤣

There's extensive guidance on prohibited items in the post published by Royal Mail.

More seriously, sending weedkiller as a 'lighthearted' joke to a person you are in dispute with could be construed as a threat to them (/their life).... even if it was just intended as innocent assistance with their weed problem.  If someone wants to take that action out of context and make more of it, that is.
  • A friend had a dispute with a neighbour, I'm unsure who was at fault as I only heard my friend's side of the story, but when the neighbour sold and moved on he sent a packet of sage and onion stuffing to my friend - maybe try that instead of the weed killer ;)

You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time
  • Just to clarify, lol, I’m not sending anything to anybody! It was suggested as a joke by someone earlier in this thread.

I think it is so rude to leave a house dirty, I  was busy is hardly an excuse the move wasn't a surprise. I know it wouldn't achieve anything legally but very tempting  to send a letter via solicitor just to stress the vendor out and well worth the money!
Wouldn't stress me out, but give me a laugh to read and share with others.

You could send them a card thanking them for the lovely feedback you got on how clean the house was to really wind them up.

**DISCLAIMER this comment is tongue in cheek and in no way a serious piece of advice. P.S Don't send weed killer in the mail.

I'd send it, with the hope of goading them into further response through their solicitor.

I've had ebay sellers post chemicals to me via Royal Mail, including some highly toxic stuff. The sellers don't care, and RM don't appear to be bothered unless the chemicals leak out.
