    … I am probably missing something here but I’ve been wondering why on earth their solicitor would even agree to send that email to us, if they know full well they do not have a leg to stand on because caveat emptor.  
    Solicitors work on their clients instructions, not their own personal opinion.

    Solicitors work on their clients instructions, not their own personal opinion. 
    And the time spent with the solicitor and the letter will have cost more than getting a cleaner in.

    I’m literally not going to do this obviously but surely you must be able to buy weed killer through the post because of places like Amazon 🤣
    I bought weed killer from Amazon. They sent it through their own courier. 
    No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?

    I think it is so rude to leave a house dirty, I  was busy is hardly an excuse the move wasn't a surprise. I know it wouldn't achieve anything legally but very tempting  to send a letter via solicitor just to stress the vendor out and well worth the money!
