  • That's a big prolific goal, I don't think I've ever reached that high! Watching with interest and I hope you make it!

Other ways I've made money when it was desperately needed was to go through my DD's and see what I could cancel (i.e subscriptions or getting new deals on broadband and gas/elec - if you contact the water board they will give discounts if you're on benefits of any kind), selling stuff on FB or elsewhere, taking part in the GC on here as everyone is in the same boat and the NSD thread. It's great when you have moral support and are all in the same boat. I'll cheer you on from this side 👏🏼🎉

Hope you have a good day. 😊

  • £26!! Wow that would have been snapped up I bet. I was lucky and got  £9 and then a couple of £1-2 ones earlier and they all paid out immediately so managed to cash out over £13 today. I see you've resisted temptation and left yours in there. How many months is that pot worth?

I don't know what to do with myself I didn't get the job as you can probably guess.
Was this the job you have been for an interview for? Or the one you should have gone to an interview on Friday and they pushed it back as they were doing g second interviews?

This may come across as quite blunt but it’s not
    meant to upset you x
If you hadn’t been to an interview you weren’t likely to get the job; no matter what any agency tells you
You seem to get your hopes up very quickly and think businesses are ‘messing you about’ Not sure how many people in your industry apply for each job but I assume it’s quite high; meaning companies have a lot of candidates to choose from
Are there any other jobs you could see yourself doing to bring in some money; even if it’s part time? Freelance work?
A lot of people change jobs in the New Year so more opportunities may come up then
Could you do some charity work while you are job hunting? Would look better on cv and get you out mingling with other people
It really is better to be working while job hunting
Take another look at opportunities with a fresh perspective; is there something else you could see yourself doing? You never know you may enjoy it?! You could be looking for a long time if you insist on searching for ‘dream job’

  • I hope you find something soon, even if not the perfect match for you. I (as you've probably read on my diary) usually just take whatever job is offered to me  and I've had hit and miss with how happy they have made me, how much work I do, pay etc...so I would say give something else a chance you might be surprised! This job I have now I almost didn't bother turning up for assuming it would be like my other job but it is different & better paid and work/life balance better. Not perfect, but way better than I imagined. Perhaps you will find something that surprises you, in a good way!

I have applied to a lot of jobs last night, a lot of non dream jobs so I guess I am looking for anything that would be acceptable. Also I am going to take steps to make my spare room more profitable, by creating more space by taking down the cupboard in there and re-decorating. I had a sense of renewal over night, and I am ready to find another job, something that will tie me over. Thank you @MFWannabe I just put all my hopes into the job and it didn't bear fruit, I had a low feeling but that has now passed...I am ready to find the next job, I still have time and I have now applied for a lot of roles...so Fingers crossed something comes through for me and I think something will eventually and in time...so lets look to the positive. All the best. HotdogX
🤞something comes your way soon x

I think maybe pass on the flooring & the need to repay the money til you have a job.
