No NSD yesterday.
We went to the cinema (2 for 1 on Mondays at our local cinema), and bought our own snacks. Saw Dune and actually had our own private viewing as no one else in the room
Today an NSD. Moved some pictures around on the walls and hoovered upstairs. Made up spare bed.
Did personal banking and paid off double the minimum on the CC. Worked out monthly budget and meal planned for the next week.
Lunch will be stew cobbler, leftover stew with a cobbler topping. Supper tonight muffins and home made pea soup.

NSD today.
We had a mini fry up this morning so will skip lunch. Supper will be jacket potatoes - mine with beans (left over from fry up) and cheese. DH will have mushrooms left over from fry up mixed into a cheese sauce with his.
Done a load of washing and put the big stuff bedding and bath mats on the line - keeping a weather eye out as its looking line rain!
Cleaned the bathroom.
There is a delivery coming from Sainsbogs shortly. This afternoon I will batch cook some mince bolognaise sauce and freeze and make a cottage pie for the freezer - lucky freezerDebt free and Keeping on Track2 -
@MrsPorridge I washed my bedding this morning and put it out about 9.30am and got it back in about 3/4hr ago completely dry! Having said that I don't know what part of the country you're in but I'm in the SE and it's lovely a bright day with very little breeze.
That's 3 loads of washing I've managed to dry on the line this week, so really pleased with that as hate having to use the airer to dry stuff and only ever use the tumble dryer to finish stuff off if it hasn't quite dried on the line. Not used it at all this year so far - lets hope it stays that way, particularly with the cost of energy going up! (fortunately not for me yet as still on a fixed rate until the end of the year!)3 -
Joedenise - I'm in Cornwall a remote part right at the edge of a peninusla - its nearly always windy here. Today weather is mixed, we often have rain. The stuff was on the line for 30 mins and is now spread on horses insideDebt free and Keeping on Track2

What a shame its's been a lovely day here. It was really warm in the sun. Temperatures are beginning to drop now but that's hardly surprising considering the time of year!

No NSD today.
We went with another couple for a pensioner's lunch in the local pub. Was lovely, I had vegan lasagne with salad and garlic bread followed by bread and butter pudding and clotted cream with a coffee - £9 per head for that! Hard to beat. Will be having soup tonight. Was nice to go out with our friends, haven't seen them for a few weeks. I got all dressed up for the occasion
We are lucky where we live, we get a lot of pensioner lunch deals in the winter, our local cafe does one for £10 again for two courses plus tea or coffee.
After that we went for a top up shop at Sainsburys. Other than fruit and milk I will not need to go shopping again this month.
DS is coming home tonight for a few days - his train gets in at 5 to midnight, but luckily a friend is able to give him a lift home, so we don't have to turn out at some ungodly hour for him. Its a 40 minute car ride to our nearest station.Debt free and Keeping on Track2
