Another NSD today.
Almost finished sorting out my craft room - it WILL be finished tomorrow.
Baked some sausage rolls. I have frozen some and the rest for lunches tomorrow and tea on Sunday.
Dinner tonight was scampi, oven chips, soda bread and lettuce, toms from the garden. That is the end of our home grown tomatoes now.
Did another load of washing, but drying inside as its been very dull today and has threatened rain, although none as yet.Debt free and Keeping on Track2 -
Still going well Mrs P - and yes I identify with waking in the night feeling as though someone is slow-roasting me. Not fun! Also identify with porridge - my first porridge breakfast of this end of the year today - raspberry & coconut here with a sliced banana on top for himself and a blog of toffee-apple almond butter for me. Yum.
We are also still getting away with outside drying at the moment although I suspect not for much longer.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

No NSD today as I went shopping.
There were turkeys in Sainsburys and I bought a frozen turkey crown. This was just over half the price of the fresh crown I was going to order. Am really pleased with this.
Had tea and a croissant whilst I was out - got the tea free as I had enough stamps on the loyalty card.
Got home to find a £5 voucher from Nestle - a couple of weeks ago I bought a tub of Quality Street, the chocolate was almost white although they tasted fine and we did eat them I sent off an email to Nestle about it. They replied apologising and saying there was a letter in the post. I had bought the tub for £5 from Sainsburys. So pleased I complained about them.
So even though I spent money I got some freebies/bargains.
Did a bit of gardening pulled a few weeds out and planted some more bulbs.
Tea tonight is peri peri chicken with some rice and peas.Debt free and Keeping on Track3 -
Great news on the turkey. I need to make space in the freezer and then want to get one for us just in case everything goes mad at xmasAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Will be an NSD today.
This morning I've put on a load of washing, weather looks OK, so I may put another one on if I can get it dried on the line. Changed our bed. Changed and tidied up DS's room as he is threatening a visit for a few days in November, so if he does, then its all ready for him. It has become a bit of a dumping ground, so a good clean was needed. Downstairs has been hoovered.
Lunch will be stew and dumplings from the freezer. Supper tonight will be wheaten bread (which I got from Waitrose on my shopping trip yesterday). I love wheaten but can only buy it from Waitrose - its very common in Northern Ireland - you can buy it anywhere there. We will have that with some pate and crisps, chuntneys and coleslaw.
This afternoon I'm going to be lazy, sewing, watching TV, fiddling on the computer etc.

No NSD today. DH and I went through our budgets and monies - something we will now do every Monday to keep our eye on the ball. Normally its just me, but DH is now helping out and its great that we are now both singing from the same hymn sheet.
We also looked at holidays next year as we plan to go out and about more in the motorhome. This is why no NSD as I have paid £40 deposits for two campsites. We are booking early as I think more people will spend their holidays here rather than abroad next year, also sales of motorhomes and caravans are booming, so more people booking sites. We have done our planning properly, with budgets and are going away from June onwards, we will by then have received DH's first state pension and during the holiday will receive his second one.
We are planning a big trip (several months away) going up to Scotland, Shetland, Orkneys etc., but this will be in 2023. This means that we can properly budget for it and will have paid the majority of the CC off by then. So we are trying to be sensible!
Meals today are veggie pies with coins (potatotes sliced into rounds and shallow fried) That is now the last of our home grown spuds. Supper will be home made pea soup with sausage roll and the rest of the Wheaten bread.
Still not used the CC and won't be using it ever again (hopefully).Debt free and Keeping on Track3 -
I don't if you're members of the Camping and Caravanning Club but if not it's worth joining for cheap weekends away in your motorhome with the local District Associations and also holiday times mainly Temporary Holiday Sites. Some of them are as cheap as £8 a night.
We're very lucky where we live as we have a place we can stay for £4 a night and then get to lots of different places by bus (using our free bus passes!).
I've currently got a pea and ham soup in the SC. We'll have some for lunch tomorrow and hopefully at least another 4 portions to go into the freezer for lunches over the next couple of weeks.

Going away for several months sounds an exciting plan.
Did you come up with a plan on how to clear the debt?Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
