I’m still in my first 14 days with avro, is it wise for me to cancel?

edf are unable to block it for some strange reason so i’m on hold with avro now…..

can imagine their lines are heaving at the moment  :/
Yeah that's very strange EDF can't block the move when you're still within your 14 day cooling off period.

    yeah she was confused too…

just got off the phone with avro who said they don’t have access to any of their accounts now as they’re all in the administrators hands. They can’t cancel it either so i’m back on the phone to EDF!

Actually, I just noticed on my bulb switch that they are sorry to see me go but if I change my mind, to contact my new supplier within 14 days.....
So perhaps your old one can't anymore?
They also say though that if I made the switch by accident, I could follow their link, so maybe say you had a senile moment and switched in error?

I've the same issue. I'm within the 14 day cooling off period with a switch to Avro from Outfox the Market.  Outfox say on their facebook page they are unable to cancel any switch from them unless there is an issue with the account like a debt.

Avro took the DD yesterday for switch completion on 1st October, a little too previous for my liking as still within the 14 day cooling off period.

Did they explain why they can’t stop it?

I think the new provider is in charge of the switch.

    well that’s annoying

just got off the phone with edf and since the contract has passed a certain point and it’s all valid there’s nothing they can do.

So i’ll just have to ride it out and hope the supplier ofgem picks honours the tarrif i went for

That's not how it works, you'll more than likely be put on the vari deal of the SoLR which will be around price cap.

However, you are right, weather the storm and see how things turn out, no use worrying over it.

Wow! Sorry to hear that, if you're still within 14 day cooling off period you should be allowed to cancel the switch.
