     They have responded saying that the fine stands as I did not make payment within the first fifteen minutes of arriving?!
    Please read that again I will bet £50 they never said that at all did they?
    Please use the correct terminology (like charge) and stop giving these chancers any kudos that they are in any way an authority or important!

  • I've contacted the landowner, expressed the situation and my concern and they have just emailed today to confirm that they have instructed Civil Enforcement to cancel the 'charge'! (correct terminology!)

    As for the other 
    respondents - I hope today is a happier day for you than when you both responded. I often find a cup of tea will take the edge off. x

    @hossydossy, several people have now suggested that you start your own thread about your predicament.

    This situation is going to lead to confusion and you run the risk of getting duff information.
