VAT extra add on

If you're a consumer and its a consumer product, they should be advertising prices inclusive of VAT. And £28.99 + VAT is £34.79 so still wouldn't explain it.0

Don’t you get a ‘bill’ either paper or online itemising what you are paying for .
FYI , the VAT is should still be shown but separately and still included in the advertised cost , so if a bill were £30 / month , then the bill would show £25 with £5 shown separately as the VAT element so the total is £30, they can’t advertise the product as £25 ex vat (or shouldn’t) no consumer product shows the ex vat price as you as a can’t avoid it or claim it back .0 -
If it is consumer retail, not commercial, the advertised price must include VAT as standard, not some hidden add onSo, if advertised at 29.99 per month it is exactly that, not 29.99 + VAT
