Why are Empira Ltd, who appear to be conducting the activity of bailiffs, listed as:Nature of business (SIC)Company info:- 69109 - Activities of patent and copyright agents; other legal activities not elsewhere classified

Wonder what @Herbie21 will make of all this and whether that company 'nature of business' description is even allowed for a firm acting as enforcement agents?
So, John Davies, who is a Director of Gladstones, has set up a post court enforcement/bailiff company, copying the example of DCBL who have a collections arm, a 'Legal' arm and a bailiff arm.
How very convenient for firms that leach onto the private parking industry.
Must work brilliantly, a licence to print money. Pass DVLA data around between your mates and add extra money at every stage.
And it's these people and their close contacts who have presumably been lobbying Government, telling them about the 'cost of court and cost of debt recovery' which the MHCLG said in their recent consultation preamble, had shaped their thinking when they proposed the (legalised extortion) 'idea' of making an added SEVENTY QUID PER PCN part of the purported parking charges under 'contract' that the driver would be bound by from day one.
This of course would allow a PPC or DCA, or Gladstones and their ilk to charge hundreds of pounds for ONE SINGLE LETTER in multi ticket victim cases (usually IPC firms at residential car parks, not bothering to have a white list for residents and instead taking photos by stealth and sending postal PCNs to what they know is likely to the old address of a new tenant).
When will the Government wake up and smell the coffee?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
