Our house is a bit odd - we sleep on the middle floor of 3, small room, sun streams in the window, and all the heat seems to collect there during the day. So at bed time the window is opened and sometimes the fan is even put on. By the early hours though, it does feel a bit chilly. It actually does get quite cold here in the evenings and early mornings. I can see my breath during early morning dog walks. Weird weather.

Evening all!
OH is away now until Thursday and I'm already bored and not sure what to do with myselfI am going to watch the new bake off this evening though
I also offered my work friend a lift home tomorrow as she doesn't have a car as her OH needs it, it's on my way home so I don't mind BUT I do now need to clean my car, I'm so paranoid when I give people lifts
So I plan on cleaning and hoovering my car then cleaning the kitchen as it could do with a decent wipe down.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe boards and spending & discounts boards. Hi everyone
I made it back 2 days in a run!
Bagpuss hope you're ok x
Dawn I'm so jealous you have had to exert some will power with the cakes! My appetite has gone due to stress I've been under the last few weeks and I'm barely eatingI usually have such a big appetite and love food but at the moment I can't face very much and when I force myself it tastes like cardboard and I don't feel that good afterwards
I am eating though so no need to be concerned
Thanks CLF
jadewest94 I'm exactly the same with my car! It's a total tip most of the time but if I know I've got to give someone a lift I will make the effort to clean it
it's quite round here atm. Where are all the regulars?
yesterday I found a broiling pan, with lid, on the garden a neighbour was giving away. It had a lot of limescale on the inside. I took it home, put vinegar in it and left it overnight. Pan good as new today
I don't have much to report as did a 12 hour shift today - usual working day. But I have:
* had a collection of los for tea
* received a academic diary and a A3 calendar. Transferred work/uni dates in to the diary. Calendar no good so started a return and packaged it up
* made madam's lunch for tomorrow
* washed and dried 2 loads today
That's all! See you all soon x

Evening allToday I have:Walked the dogRoutine kitchen and bathroom clean upMade a beef casserole for dinnerShopping at Lidl's. I was shocked at the bill, as it wasn't a big shop this week - OH had put a piece of Italian ham in the trolley which cost more than £9! Trust him to find what must be the most expensive thing in the shopPicked the apples - only a few, really pathetic this year due to ants and aphids. The apples were small, with marked skins, but alright underneath the peel, and there is enough for a crumble. I have belatedly discovered that the pests can be stopped using tree grease. I will be applying this every spring and autumn from now on, to save my trees. The cherry and both apples were affected really badly this year. Oddly, there are loads of pears and quinces, which didn't seem to be affected at all. They aren't ready yet though.Watered what needed it in the gardenPaid the milk billOH prepped the apples while he was watching TV, and I have cooked them.Picked some chillis, prepped and pickled them. Froze the half lime that was left over from this process.5
