If you can get it I recommend Night Nurse for allowing you some sleep and relief from the symptoms. (I don't get commission!)5

Thanks @Alchemilla - I may try that!
Gah, not a great night's sleep again but this time was because DH kept pushing me as I was apparently snoring like a freight train! It's because I still cannot breathe out of my nose and feel rough. Went to bed at 8pm. DC2 also woke at 230 but went back to sleep after a nappy change. DC1 woke at 6 soaking as his nappy pants had not held up. So lots of washing for me today.
Working but not - feel rough and exhausted still so just doing what I can when I can.
Was paid my bonus today - waiting to see exact amount DH gets paid on 25th as his increase is back dated to 1 Jan then will do another accounts reccie to see what we can hoof off over into savings as this month is quite expensive as first mortgage payment will come out (which is bigger than normal as is interest for a month and a half given it's first payment) and topping up the nursery fees to cover the extra days this month and then obviously the increase going forwards.
Shopping needs to be done today. At some point as we have little food.6 -
Shopping been done (not by me). Was relatively reasonable this week. 2 x 4 pack low sugar beans for the DC bought as they've not had any for ages. We didn't need 8 cans but as sometimes we sometimes cannot get them this was a sensible move. Also more olive oil - not needed at present but heard that prices of veg oils due to rise due to ukraine situation so some was bought as was on offer. WR now doing vouchers on your regular items which is great - CB butter chicken (divine) for tonight - normally £8.97 (a lot but much cheaper and nicer than a takeaway) but voucher gave £4.50 off. Then another voucher was £4 off if you spend over £40. And it's good to use these things if you were going to spend anyway.
DC2 WILL NOT DRINK MILK - removed his bottle (as he had chewed through 2 teats and figured it's about time he came off them as he's nearly 17 months and it's not great for their teeth) and will not drink out of any cup we try (tried about 3 different kinds). Tried him back on bottle but he just waves it away. So, we are now having to buy him yoghurt ice lollies to try to get enough calcium down him (plus yoghurt too). DH said "well, you did want to reduce the milk bill", which is true obvs, but not to the detriment of the DC. So, we will see how he goes. I swear they know how to stress you out!
Nose STILL fully blocked and just cannot breathe. Tomorrow I think we are looking at getting a gate to prevent the DC getting out from the field onto road, and also a lemon tree and poss a lime tree.2 -
This is a long time ago & there are obviously a lot more options now, but when my DS stopped wanting to drink milk a little older but not much I used to make angel delight lollies myself. You could even crush extra calcium tablets in. The advantage of DIY is you know what has gone in. I would not choose angel delight these days but when you are desperate.....

Have you tried Olbas oil to clear your nose. A couple of drops on a tissue on the bed really helps to clear your nose and might help you to sleep. It is really strong so your DH might be able to smell it where you can’t but if it stops you snoring it’s a small price to pay!slowly working towards being MF one small over payment at a time :T3

Broccoli has plenty of calcium2

When you google this you will think I am very strange! but look for a netti pot. Someone recommended in on here when I had the WORST sinus infection of my existence and regular use saved me so much pain, I couldn't breathe through my nose and used get dreadful sore throats from it. Also sleep sort of tipped up on pillows so it all drains somewhere.
All gross.Nevertheless she persisted.2
