My MiL was an absolute gem so definitely no cow (pity about her son), my own mother now that is a whole different ball game.

So I have gone downhill. Not helped by fact DC1 now pretty poorly and had us both awake from midnight for the rest of the night. He is not well at all and has stayed off today. I am also off sick. Can barely breathe out my nose and just feel so drained.
DC1 def unwell - when offered chocolate and ice cream he said "no thanks" and has slept much of the day.
Just feels like this will never end. Feel very guilty being off work but an email did go round monday saying what the rules were and that if you felt unwell with covid you didn't have to work.

Getting a goat might be a better idea. Doesn't need to stay inside over winter and much easier to handle. They do try to run away though, and often succeed. Mumtoomany.xxFrugal Living Challenge 2025.5

Still can't breathe out of my nose - feels like this just won't go away! DC1 is absolutely fine today - so so weird. Had us up from 4am today so still exhausted. Not sure I'll be working tomorrow - feel I really need to rest and hopefully both DC not here tomorrow (DC1 to nursery, DC2 to MIL).
Likely to be another weekend ruined by covid - it sucks.
Have messed up the credit card bill calculations and am somehow 1733 adrift and not sure why. It's def our spending (as in, it's not had fraudulent transactions on it) as I recognise it all - this is my fault for not using spreadsheets! I think that I possibly didn't include the house insurance last month. Anyway, it's all fine as we have it, but annoying.
I think I am going to change our budget month to run from 25th to 25th because that way it is just easier to keep an eye on the credit card properly.
Awful period pains today as well. Feel like I need to hibernate but have both DC.6
