BTW model number should be: LC-50FI5342KF (I not 1)
Have you tried doing a software update - see page 30 of the manual

If the update doesn't work try this also on the Tesco troubleshooting website:

I called sharp and apparently this has been happening to lots of people and I need to call BBC about it...the number they gave me just has a pre recorded message saying they can't take my call. I left an email but God knows when they will pick it up. Very disappointed 2 year old here... *sigh*0

Have you tried signing in here?
https://account.bbc.com/account/tv
Usually we log in, and (from memory) a code is generated on TV screen, which we input on computer. Then allowed to continue on TV screen.
Good luck0 -

It might be worth contacting Freeview support

We contacted them a while ago on their Facebook page about an issue we had at the time, and they were very helpful and sorted out the problem.
