It looks like you read a section about POPLA appeals instead of the second post in the NEWBIES thread, about LBC stage. Go back and read the right part for your stage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Red X, thanks for all of your help so far. I have approached the retailer to complain but no success on that front to date. Not helped that I cannot actually speak to anyone in the store as they are not accepting calls. I have been emailing Gladstones with proof of purchase of kitchen over £1k and to inform them that when I spoke to retailer they said they would get it cancelled. But they are saying the liability is on me. I have emailed the head office of the retailer and I am awaiting a response. I understand that the land is owned by Sellar Property Group. Do you think I should approach them too? I have read on the NEWBIES thread about sending a 'Subject Access Request' or SAR to the PPC. I have checked http://www.premierpark.co.uk/privacy-policy but can only see an email regarding complaints: dpo@premierpark.co.uk is this correct? I will also email the solicitor as per advice in the NEWBIES thread. I will continue to chase retailer for a response and also contact the land owner.1

Gladstone are correct , the legal matter is between you and Premier Park ltd , Exeter
So yes , email that dpo@ address to obtain all your data
Yes complain to anyone and everyone , landowner , property agent , managing agent , retailer , all of them , make a noise , kick up a fuss , no Idea why you are asking for permission , just do it
Especially email the CEO of the retailer you visited , no minions , go straight to the top and don't be fobbed off by minions
Get it cancelled if you want the monkey off your back , by doing the above
Gladstone's solicitors will follow their client's instructions , so no point asking them , they are contractor for the claimant , not your legal counsel
Gather your evidence , kick up a fuss , email your local MP , do whatever it takes , send in the SAs if you have to !! 😆😆😆2 -
They have added what appears to be an extra unlawful amount OF £70 for debt collection. Judges have dismissed an entire claim because of this. Read this and complain to your MP.
Excel v Wilkinson
At the Bradford County Court, District Judge Claire Jackson (now HHJ Jackson, a Specialist Civil Circuit Judge) decided to hear a 'test case' a few months ago, where £60 had been added to a parking charge despite Judges up and down the country repeatedly disallowing that sum and warning parking firms not to waste court time with such spurious claims. That case was Excel v Wilkinson: G4QZ465V, heard in July 2020 and leave to appeal was refused and that route was not pursued. The Judge concluded that such claims are proceedings with 'an improper collateral purpose'. This Judge - and others who have since copied her words and struck dozens of cases out in late 2020 and into 2021 - went into significant detail and concluded that parking operators (such as this Claimant) are seeking to circumvent CPR 27.14 as well as breaching the Consumer Rights Act 2015. DJ Hickinbottom has recently struck more cases out in that court area, stating: ''I find that striking out this claim is the only appropriate manner in which the disapproval of the court can be shown''.

If I paid a lot of money then got an unfair charge from an unregulated private parking company, I would have threatened the retailer with a cancellation of my order. They may not be the landowner, but they should be telling them that the behaviour of the unregulated company, referred to as scammers, rogues and bloodsuckers in parliament, is having a detrimental effect on business.I married my cousin. When you say complain to your MP I'm guessing I should complain to the MP for Portsmouth as I am not based there.0
