Halifax App Notifications

That's exactly what you see in Lloyds, and as per post 3 of this thread the only notification is to alert you to pay your bill if you have no DD set up. I really can't see Halifax being any different.

That's not what I asked. I asked if your phone is allowing the app to send notifications. I know on Android you can prevent apps sending notifications, even allowing for the fact you're using iOS I'd suspect even Apple can program that much in.GalacticaActual said:All notifications are turned on.
Notifications for Purchase Alerts (debit card), Smart Alerts and Spending Summary work. Perhaps Halifax are rolling out the Credit Card Alerts gradually? 🤷🏻♂️

Ah right, you meant is the Operating System, rather than the Halifax App, blocking/overriding the notifications?Deleted_User said:

Not according to my iPhone.
As far as am aware, you wouldn’t be able to turn “on” notifications in an individual App without being nagged to turn on notifications in the system settings for that particular App also. 🤷🏻♂️

Well my Android app just updated to v81.03, still no sign of any enhancement to notifications though.Stompa0

All the other alerts have worked from day one and still work, like the one I received earlier today:

I had a notification for my new Cashback Credit Card this morning but only for the cashback earned so far.
I’ve only had the credit card a week and Halifax are in the process of producing the first statement.
