Thanks - I've been going back through the Newbies Thread and eventually found it (entertained by the number of hijackers on there ). I had almost remembered correctly and had sent it but minus the word "Urgent". I have had an acknowledgement already though so I'll keep you posted!

I never read the template defence thread apart from the first post by coupon mad !!

I suspect nobody else reads the rest either , because it's an information only thread and only post 1 is relevant

So, I've sent the SAR and the defence... do I need to send something to the claimant's solicitor to tell them I've asked for a SAR? I thought I'd seen that as well, or is that only when the DQ comes out?

I've also noted that the SAR doesn't ask for signage and machine receipts - trying to search for that SAR guide leads me to believe some companies will reject the SAR if non-personal info is requested, so do I need to send them a separate request for that stuff?

Informing the lawyer is at LBC stage , not court stage , but send them a copy of the Defence too

Nothing to do with the DQ

Even if you ask for signage and landowner authority etc , you won't get it until the WS stage in several months time , because you are not entitled to it, so they won't be laying down their cards until the appropriate time
