It means you now need to go back to that list you were following when you filed your Defence.

Surely you remember item 6 on that list?

6. After filing your Defence, there is more to do.

Items 7, 8, 9 and 10 on that list will explicitly answer your latest questions.

hi all. so we have received this through the post 2-3 weeks ago. I couldn't see a hearing date on this document.( or am I being blind?)  should i start preparing my witness statement now? no costs assessment been send either.

But the immediate answer is get on writing your Witness Statement and gathering your evidence if you haven't already done so.

Whatever letter it is from the court (if not then the next one) will include instructions about filing and serving your WS and evidence.  Usually on page 2.

hi all, I have received a date for the trial (late september), however it seems they have not send/not received by us a WS and evidence letter out to me at all. Is it too late to send that in? 

In the middle of writing the deference and will post up for comments later.

If you have received a court heating date, you must have submitted a defence already!  Do you mean Witness Statement?

Look again at your Notice of Allocation which you have not shown us. 

Is there not a paragraph something like:

Each party must deliver to every other party and to the court office copies of all documents on which he intends to rely at the hearing no later than [ . . . ] [14 days before the hearing].

Might be on the back.

Those documents you intend to rely on are your Witness Statement and evidence.
