    • £8.13 to Extension.
    • £4.13 to Emergency Fund.
    • Started an ISA transfer from T212 to Vanguard. I want to switch my VWRL into Target Retirement 2040 so that my holdings are better aligned with my risk profile. This will allow me to knock all the micro transfers into cash ISA so as to try and achieve a 70% equities/30% bonds split on the head. Also, cash isn't bonds, although sometimes it can fill a similar role if you consider the old whisky and water analogy. The charges for holding the TR fund are higher than holding VWRL with T212, but they're still reasonable. It will also help me to visualise my progress better having essentially a single holding in both ISA and SIPP :)

We pay over ten months as we often have to buy oil in January (February CC) and top up the electricity account in March to stop it going into deficit

OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026

12 months here. I don't see any sense in overpaying for 10 months, just to have 2 months "free"
    Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
Cleared 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed

Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!

I pay over twelve months, but I kind of miss the free months. Although not free, but you know what I mean. They just set it up that way when I moved here and I didn't have much say in it.
