Thank you @rtandon27
I was convinced I'd replied to this earlier on but the response and my financials have disappeared...Today I finished off the first draft of our consultation with a colleague, 6,000 words and 20 pages of it! We're going to finalise tomorrow before sending to Head of Service for approval.I also phoned the Council to amend our Council Tax DD to 12 months and contacted 3 businesses for bathroom quotes. I could only speak with one, the other requests were emailed.
*Edit: bathroom fitter #2 has made contact.8 -
Used our second last bag of leftover Christmas turkey from the 5.6kg monster I bought for £2.50 😂
Dinner was turkey and mashed potato hand pies with HM cranberry sauce in them, sort of like a posh Gregg's Festive Bake 😉 I reduced a jar of HM turkey stock down to jus level, let this cool, mixed with turkey and then layered mash/meat/cranberry in puff pastry with an egg wash. Very nice for freezer and fridge leftovers and decidedly soft free potatoes!5 -

Consultation response sent over to Head of Service for approval, fingers crossed it comes back with minimal changes.I have a bit of a quiet day today, workwise, although I've booked to attend a couple of CPD sessions next week. My entire team will be off from tomorrow, so I hope there are a few studies for me to do
I've booked in another bathroom quote for tomorrow and I've tried to get in touch with the council about adult swimming lessons.Probably of interest to nobody but me but I have started to notice some weight gain since coming off the Mounjaro again. On the one hand, this is frustrating, as my movement levels have been really positive (10.5k+ steps on average since the start of January). On the other hand, we're still eating leftovers and quite a lot of starch, and definitely more alcohol than usual. I am going to try and combine the following to hold it in check:- Intermittent fasting 18:00-10:00
- Only one milk coffee a day (we use gold milk)
- No alcohol unless it's Fri-Sun
- Get my 2l of water a day
- Increase protein to at least 1g/kg of body weight
- Try and eat more fibre
Finance bits:- £11.56 to Extension
- £3.44 to EF
- c. £8.39 made on Prolific so far (can't withdraw yet)
- £1.37 sent to personal cash savings

Woohoo - I am starting adult swimming lessons as of next week! I'm not an absolute beginner, I do a very good impression of an otter puttering along on its back to eat some tasty shellfish, otherwise I'm dreadful

That sounds much better than my chinese length Ed. Would you believe that I was born in a house next door to an open air public swimming pool & I hate water.6

These are quite similar to the guidelines I set myself, good luck in finding what works for you while enjoying life 🤗edinburgher said:I am going to try and combine the following to hold it in check:- Intermittent fasting 18:00-10:00

Inspired by the tax return chat over on TMV's thread, I have double checked my tax spreadsheet for studies and identified a mistake that probably explains my underestimate from last year's return. This is positive, but the £23 extra I need to set aside is annoying. Still, it could have been a lot worse!
- £8.03 withdrawn from Prolific
- £25.48 to tax :'(
Not a great day for earnings.7 -
