A grim day including a 2-hour meeting when we took an unvarnished look at the resource issues hounding the team (in the context of "Now Mr E's going (!!!!!!, has been an issue for actual years now)). Honest statements were made, feelings were hurt, feathers ruffled, none of it affected me at all ๐คฃ13

ooooo - I hope you were the one ruffling the feathers!
As for hurt feelings, the only way i got current manager to pretend to treat me with respect was to make honest statements and produce hurt feelings (not mine) - sometimes you just have to say it as it is!!!!! I'm sooooooooooo glad you can see the light at the end of the tunnel!ย
Is your end date the 12th or the 19th?ย We should have a little virtual party here to celebrate freedom!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Actually I wasn't ruffling feathers for once, perfectly happy to step back and let others be frustrated. Offered to work with my new service to improve shared processes, figure I can get one foot in the new camp quicker that way. I have to do a PVG application tomorrow. Should be straightforward, no criminal record and been in current address for 10 years last month.8

I made a spreadsheet of working days left as soon as my leaving date was agreed and did a Countif formula so that as I completed a day and put "done" in the cell it counted down ๐คฃedinburgher said:

Fabulous! - I love a good spreadsheet - might steal that one for when I need it! ๐คฃCCW007 said:I made a spreadsheet of working days left as soon as my leaving date was agreed and did a Countif formula so that as I completed a day and put "done" in the cell it counted down ๐คฃ4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! If you put your last day in an excel cell, say A1, as 15/12/2025, or whatever it is, then in the cell underneath put this:
="There are "&TEXT(A1-TODAY(),"####")&" days to leaving."
You will get a lovely sentence automatically counting down for you.

If you're feeling really keen, you can subtract weekends from that:
="There are "&TEXT(NETWORKDAYS(TODAY(),A1),"####")&" working days to leaving."

Ooh that's really fancy!4

Not sure how to make that recognise my compressed hours! Still, man, I love a spreadsheet!FloraandFauna said:If you're feeling really keen, you can subtract weekends from that:
