Thank you all for the positive comments, definitely a wee win. I'm hoping it may stick as popular rumour is that their boss has essentially hinted that said reviews should not be happening.
@KajiKita - Finance still playing silly beggars - but very much considered to be a role that will be advertised when, not if. Not getting my hopes up too much because while I have a bit of an in, it's a relatively slender one and there'd still be a fair bit of competition because of the associated salary.
£7.46 withdrawn from Prolific, £15 odds thrown into the yawning chasm that is my S&S dividend pie. I had not realised how much volatility there would be with such established companies, suppose you never really notice when your main investing experience is indexes going up and down?10 -

I don't know if it is the fact that I have been screwing the nut, workload is settling down, or I'm feeling more relaxed with lack of supervision, but I had a mega productive day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Moved on every single piece of work that I am involved with, acted up a little with a Service Manager who question my expertise in a particular domain and demonstrated that they were fine to let me proceed as planned with something they were worried with.
I'm not sure if it's the thing where a football manager gets really good for the two games before they fire him, but I'll take itStarting the weekend far less stressed and with 30 minutes of flexi in the tank for next week.
S&S dividend pot went up a little today but one stock dove by a terrifying 23% early doors. I realised that this was an overreaction by the markets and topped up my holding. It went up 8% during the course of the day, so my intuition was fine.
Made $22.50 for a 45-minute AI survey and a wee voice recording study. All well and good but I was tempted by Lidl's 10-pack of Octoberfest beers for £24.99, so all gone alreadySorry, I probably sound a bit manic, happy weekend all!9 -
I think you’re allowed to be a little giddy, after having the TONNE weight of micro management lifted from you … 😉
Very admiring of your reading of the markets 👏😊
