                    Hi I am currently applying for council housing and they have asked for my bank statements they will see i have gambled my wages, will they still help me? Will this affect it?

            I think they mainly want to know you don't have tens of thousands stashed away and you meet their strict criteria.
 Although if your applying for council, consider your gambling activities, consider getting help and see how much you can save:

            Hello @nay99999 Like most responsible landlords, social housing landlords allocate their properties based on housing need and financial stability (no matter how happy clappy their allocation policy looks - that's why they're asking for your bank statement) so if you provide evidence showing that you cannot manage your finances, this will have a bearing on their decision.
