I've ordered a PS3 for my son for Xmas and one game (oblivion). Is there anything else i'll need to get e.g. in the way of cables etc..i want to make sure he's got everything he needs to be able to play it on Xmas day, on his TV. It comes with something called sixaxis wireless controller and 2 usb ports. Will his PS2 controllers work with it??
thanks all..very ignorant about these things!

ps2 controllers will not work with the ps3 unless you have an adapter. you shouldnt need an adapter as you have a ps3 controller (the sixaxis pads).
if you have a HDMI enabled TV and want good quality pictures, you should get a hdmi cable (but if the tv doesnt have hdmi, the in box cable should do the job fine).0
