It may be because it does not offer overdrafts that it is not classified as a credit account. Or it may be that Chase choose not to report it.0 -
No, Chase does not do hard searches nor reports accounts to CRAs as there is no credit facility as it stands. This may change in the future though0

I have already paid deposit on Jet2 holiday.Balance due in few days. Can I use chase debit card and maybe get cashback,or would it be classed as “Debt Repayment”.? Tia.0

It is a balance of a purchase not a debit you will be paying, so as far as the category posted by the merchant is correct you should get cashback (I have received cashback booking directly Hotels, planes as well as through sites like booking.com and Expedia

I thik, I will give up on Chase account. Any transfer of higher amount means security checks and stopped transactions. Even when sending between two accounts in Chase bank. I transfered the same amount out of Virgin account to my other current account and it went through no problem. So if you're buying a car or anything expensive, better to transfer money to different account earlier, to avoid disappointment.

I think you may experience this issue with multiple banks, when transferring large sums, however, I do understand your frustration as I have experienced it many times myself, not always for large sums either.
After 23 September, my Chase usage will be minimal.
Keeping one savings account to act like a bills pot, in the way my Club Lloyd's acted, albeit for more than twice the interest of that account.0 -

... I'm a little tired of this lowest common denominator security being applied across the banking industry. It makes accessing your own money rather cumbersome and is all about protecting the bank rather than the customer. It would be interesting if it were applied by default but customers were allowed to opt out.7
