Hi all, first time on here and found you all after a horrible dealing with Initial Parking at Holywell Bay. Received a parking notice for my wife's car because I didn't realise on the day that after not being able to use the app (due to signal), I used the machine, but by mistake entered my own cars registration!

I responded to them with a copy of the ticket and explained I had entered my cars registration on the ticket by mistake. I also highlighted that my cars registration that is displayed on the ticket would not show on their ANPR (because I was in my wife's car). 

Needless to say, they said that my appeal was not valid and the next communication I had via letter was from a debt recovery agency wanting £130, in addition to the £9 I paid to park all day!!

I've never been in this situation before and have literally no idea what to do next, especially as you cannot speak with Initial, whether I fight the debt collectors or let it go to court?

Any help would be really appreciated.
