Lebara logic
The MSE special deal with Lebara is, I think, described by Lebara thus:
Pricing correct as at 20.07.2021. UK minutes can be used to call UK landlines and mobile phone numbers beginning with 01, 02, 03 and 07 (excl. the Channel Islands and Isle of Man). Calls to Estonia Top Connect Mobile are not included. UK or international calls do not include calls to 0800, 0843. 0844, 0845, 0345 or other “premium” or "toll free" numbers or personal (070) numbers. Standard PAYG rates will apply to non-selected destinations or usage outside the allowance. On expiry Pass auto-renews. To unsubscribe opt-out via your MyLebara account at least 3 hours before midnight on the day of expiry. Fair usage policy is applicable for all Unlimited plans For full terms and conditions see https://mobile.lebara.com/gb/en/terms-and-conditions.
So what does 0345 cost?
What do "toll free numbers" such as 0800 cost?
and what does "Unlimited UK minutes" mean?
I've seen a suggestion of 3,000 minutes per 30-day charging period.
But, I'm confused.

Unlimited means what it says (within reason, so don't tie the line up 24/7 and you'll be fine). 0345 numbers (and all the other 0x43/4/5 numbers) will be charged at your default rate, they are not included in the bundle. So make use of online services to find alternative numbers that either come under the unlimited minutes or are free. 0800 numbers are free from all phones and mobiles, have been since 2015.Seems clear enough to me.1

So numbers beginning with 03 being included but 0345 - maybe others, too - not isn't a contradiction?"Unlimited means what it says (within reason," Oh, that makes it all clear - not.!

Incidentally, the excluded list includes "Prefix 448, Rate per/min 25p"But then, further down that table some of the prefixes are formatted in scientific notation, e.g. 4.4837E+12Lebara logic!

0345 from landline is normal local rate. As "local" doesn't exist on mobiles, it will be normal rate. It's a legacy "special number". As a general rule anything outside of 01, 02 or 07 is "special" in one way or another - 0800 is free phone, 09xx is "adult"...

Got the SIMs, the new phone and emails from Lebara this morning. The deal is described as "MSE All In One-4.90" - which isn't in the Lebara Product Weblist - yet. Incidentally. the contradictions spread across all similar Lebara products listed. All confirms the impression that you find out what is possible by experimentation - not by heeding anything on the Lebara web-site. In that spirit I'll just try out MyLebara to see what happens if I call an 0345. Thanks, again.0

Just checked MyLebara. They've messed up the two accounts opened today.I ordered two MSE All In One-4.90They've acknowledged, by email, that I ordered two MSE All In One-4.90MyLebara shows one MSE All In One-4.90 and one, much more expensive, All In One 3.I guess that confirms Lebara's level of competence.
