the guy on 'how to look good naked' always makes people wear one of these:
http://simplyyoursuk.drct2u.com/productcache/BYS/BO5496/SC332IE.html.gz
not exactly cheap, but cheaper than a new dress and none of the overspill of magic pants (plus putting magic pants back on after a loo break under the influence of alcohol can be a struggle - and yes, i am speaking from experience!). i'd guess that other makes would be a lot cheaper too - or figleaves do similar stuff and there are lots of discount codes around at this time of year.:happyhear0 -

OK- cut down on your salt intake, reduce caffeine, keep carbohydrates and proteins separate when you eat, and drink 2 or 3 litres of plain water a day. Drinking plenty of fluid will help you reduce bloating, not retain even more water.
If the dress fitted you last week, then it's obviously not fat gain that has made it too small. I agree with getting some magic knickers- they do hide my sins a little- and even when people aren't fat, they can smooth any bumps or lumps nicely. M&S are expensive- you could get similar from Primark or Tesco.
HTH, you have three days- stop worrying so much, you don't want to get overstressed and delay your TOTM, do you?
IF it's for the office Christmas night out- can you wear a shawl over the dress until everyone's had a few drinks and won't notice?:pMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

Book yourself in at a beauty salon for a seaweed wrap. I don't know how expensive these are at the moment, but they do take inches off. They do take over an hour, but its relaxing. The effects last for days.0

I totally agree with Heather38- if I have a 'do' around the time of the month- I take water retention tablets- works a treat! gets rid of all bloating around the tummy.
Non money saving- Body contour wraps done at Beauty salons work- I had 3 before my holidays and I lost 20 inches all over ! (not cheap though)MTC's NO MORE PIES MEMBER NO 202 !!!

I agree too, they work like magic! Holland and Barrett have some for £2.99 no need to pay the premium price for Aquaban.

Take water retention tablets (or windeze - depends what type of bloating it is!!)
Don't eat any foods that can make you bloat i.e. white bread, fizzy drinks, chips, anything with refined white flour, alcohol, caffeine...
i'm sure you can find a list if you google "bloating foods" or somethign.Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
