  • @Chemist_7 it seems everybody dealing with LBC from AutoSec and DCB Legal are in the same boat. AutoSec think by passing everything to DCB Legal he can crawl back under a rock, forget about everything and wait for the money to roll in. I'm still waiting for responses too. I've contested his authorisation to issue tickets in the area my vehicle was and he hasn't responded to me but has to the BPA with 'assurances' that he has authority.

    That letter is nothing more than debt collector guff - the clue is in the 14 days to pay. (A real Letter Before Claim would typically give 30 days).

    I had reply from BPA too. He’s lied to them about everything and they accepted it. They’re as bad as each other.  Thankfully his responses could work in my favour.
  • Update:

    One month after receiving DCBL’s email, I have received a CCBC claim form for a total of £313.44 today.

    The issue date is 26th of Nov, so I will be filing by AoS tomorrow and start drafting my defence!

    With a Claim Issue Date of 26th November, you have until Wednesday 15th December to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. To file an AoS, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.
    Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Wednesday 29th December 2021 to file your Defence.

    That's over four weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
    To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service instructions.
    Don't miss the deadline for filing a Defence.

    Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.

    No keeper liability?

    @hullensien

    Does the parking ticket (PCN) stuck on my car count as keeper liability?
    I didn’t receive else anything between that period.

    That's a driver liability PCN

    Thank you, if that’s the case definitely no keeper liability received.
    Will that affect / change anything at this stage?
