Dash cams

This must be why I had issues with the 2 x nextbase cameras I have.facade said:You also need a super expensive SD card designed for dashcam use- high endurance, which they don't tell you before you buy it.A "normal" card is not designed to keep overwriting the data and quickly fails.
Both had very good quality SD cards, but both failed and were displaying 'reformat card' errors that I couldn't fix.
So both cameras chucked in a cupboard and not bothered again.

An unsupported assertation on your part of what "most people" know does not constitute evidence.BOWFER said:

Really not that "super expensive" - https://www.amazon.co.uk/SanDisk-Endurance-Monitoring-Dashcams-MicroSDXC/dp/B07P3D6Y5B/ref=sr_1_3facade said:You also need a super expensive SD card designed for dashcam use- high endurance, which they don't tell you before you buy it.A "normal" card is not designed to keep overwriting the data and quickly fails.1 -
I'm not sure of your point. They're both very common words.BOWFER said:
The OP said they wanted a camera front and back so they could want them to be discrete, but the answer is clearly two dashcams. Most dashcams are discreet. Hence why I'm not sure what the OP means.0 -
Not really, quite a few, particularly the aforementioned Nextbase models, stick out like a sore thumb.Advocado said:

It seems a lot of people place their cameras in places where they can see the screens as they drive.
Surely the screens should only be referred to if something happens.0
