    I think Halifax has gone from having one of the worst debit card designs, in my opinion, to one of my favourites.

    I probably need to get out more I know.  :D

    I don`t give "two hoots" about a "classy" card design! As long as it`s functional I`m happy. Maybe I`m showing my age!

    Won’t it cost you £144 a year though just for the card - unless you use the insurance etc that comes with the account (which you can get cheaper elsewhere)

    Not if you already pay £144 for the account it won't. I wouldn't condone spending anything on a fancy debit card of course, but given I have the account already and I want a debit card in my wallet for the 2 times a year I need cash I might as well pick the nicest one.
