  • Better than their current ones but I still don't like the design that much. I don't like the massive X in the middle.

Their logo, which has always been the main feature of their debit card since they've issued debit cards? Seems rather silly to hope it might disappear.

Most banks cards don't have their logo placed massively in the middle of their card, as well as the corner of the card. Seems silly that that you commented without really reading what I had written.

Duplication is a different concern to the one you originally articulated.

FWIW I think it's fine. Not particularly exciting but an improvement.

And whatever you were in about was difficult to what I said. I said I had a problem with the big X in the middle. You then claimed I didn't want to logo on it at all, which isn't true.

Literally all of their debit cards (and most of their credit cards) have had a big X in the middle. That's my point.

    Tedious anyway.

I'm more concerned that Halifax cannot spell off-licence
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

That card looks nice but only for children's account for now, wonder how long before all accounts get new card design maybe Lloyds will do the same as well

I hope not, I like the existing Lloyds debit card designs.

Halifax is the the group's 'challenger brand' and trying to compete with Monzo / Starling. Doesn't mean that Lloyds or BOS will follow suit as they're more conservative in market positioning.
