Debt recovery plus

Hello,

Before i start i just wanted to say that i've read the newbies forum and searched through and understand I should ignore DRP.

HOWEVER - I've stupidly rung them to request info as i just got a letter from them but didn't have anything prior because i've moved house and didn't change my v5. They have emailed me all of the information.

Having now read all of these posts saying i shouldn't have run them, have I made my position worse in terms of an appeal with Euro Car Parks, which they are saying I can't appeal but will try POPLA (unless i've misread).

sorry if this is covered elsewhere!

You cannot appeal to POPLA until ECP give you a valid Popla code , which they won't , ECP will reject any appeal as out of time , POPLA won't accept any appeal without a code provided by the parking company

    Ignore DRPL
  • ah ok thank you. assume the route is just to ignore it all then and if/when Euro Car Parks try to take to court engage them then to settle it?

Any settlement tends to be before a court claim pack is issued , it's rare to get a negotiated settlement during any court claim
  • ok thank you. what would you recommend then. sounds like my only option is to ignore and hope?

I don't recommend anything , apart from obtaining the full facts and making a decision based on those facts

If I was to recommend a course of action , it's plan A , which I recommend daily on here
  • Hi All,

Hope you don't mind me asking a quick question here.

I have read newbies forum and cannot gather whether to start a new post or not, a little conflicting.

Long story short: DRP are chasing fines from 2017 for SR security. I sent SAR to SR security and they've replied saying they hold no information on me and that DRP hold it all. Surely that can't be right and is it safe to say that they won't be taking me to court and if they do I can claim they did not want to give me my information?

What should my response be to this??

Thanks in advance and sorry if this wasn't the correct way to post.
