Stop worrying. There are millions of cars like yours across Europe and further running happily on E10, and have been for years.
The UK is massively late to E10. It is widespread across the continent - the only petrol available in several countries.

Thanks Adrian. When I think I know what's what someone puts doubt in my mind.

Not having any info made public with this change over plus all the other major overhauls for phone, internet and stuff that people have used Covid for and being totally out of touch with anyone for months because of same I have no idea which is the right answer.Previously the Gov website said I was just in the 'OK bracket' and now it says I'm well within the age bracket.
The solution, become a little more tolerant of human behaviour or retreat from the internet. Only one of those in reasonable. If you don't like an argument that is going on, roll your eyes and scroll past.1 -
my picanto 1.1 asnt been effected at all on mpg you not going to notice a power drop as if you got a very low hp car i wouldnt worry
if you got a old car theres is chances the rubber pipes or seals where the fuel goes can give up with this new fuel stuff so you best either using e5 or upgrade pipes and seals1 -
Lol Ontheroad. Just at the end of my tether and despite equality I'm guessing this is more of a guy thing than I'm used to.After 4yrs of one crisis after another I just need my car to keep going until sales and stuff settle down and some peace for a while. But thanks for the info everyone. Nothings quite so bad when you know what you're doing and what the choices are.

So expect to be around Oct before we have any real UK trends on MPG. Although our European cousins have been using it for years & have not had issues.Life in the slow lane1 -
