Experiences with induction hobs with a built in extractor

We are looking at options for our new kitchen and will once again have an induction hob. Previously we had a standard overhead extractor, but as we are wanting the hob on a peninsula in the middle of the kitchen diner are thinking to maybe have one with a built in extractor. Has anyone got any experience of these? Do they work effectively? Are they harder to clean than a standard induction hob? Any other thoughts?
Thanks

Not had one but looked at some manuals to find out how they work.
They recirculate the air to under the cabinets, and have grease/oil trap containers that can be removed and cleaned in addition to other filtration. Hence they occupy quite a lot of the cabinet below them (cf a normal hob induction or ceramic).
Not sure they are worth the cost?1 -
We have a Bora. I love it. It costs a fortune anyway to put an over island extractor in. There's less to clean and look at with the Bora. The grilland a bucket (for want of a better word) go straight into the dishwasher. We already have ventilation in the form of mechanical heat recovery so have to have the hob as a recirculator to keep the house airtight.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

We've got one on the island can't fault it.
The exhaust blows out by your feet.
It's a Neff 800mm wide.
It means you can talk to guests or look out the windows without an extractor in your face.

Lovely kitchen! I see your units are flush to the ceiling. Did you have the units custom made?0

I’ve seen many an island spoiled by having an extractor fitted above, what’s a ballpark figure for one of these?Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'0

But in my defense that's about £500 more than when I booked from the kitchen supplier it in December 2020.1 -

Yes it was custom made, but the units are were the company's tall units with 'cornice' to take them to the ceiling.
It stops the dust and gunk getting up there and removes the temptation to hide things on top of the cabinets, like we used to.
If you're in the South West the kitchen supplier was
