It's so lovely to have so many people reading along. Thank you
I have spent the morning so far reading foxgloves diary. I wish I could cook and garden like she does. It sounds amazing - and I have tried both and hate both. Especially gardening. I think that I will continue being 'too busy' for chores like gardening and cooking. However... I have blackberries in my garden. Yes!!!! Entirely down to my complete and utter neglect of the place. Some of them look ready for picking so I will have to make time for that soon otherwise they will go to waste.
Alas I despair of my hating of cooking. I know it's a good way to budget and save money, and lose weight but I just cannot bear doing it. I need to save money and employ a chef.
Thanks for the TV suggestions - I have started a list. Keep them coming everyone.I haven't watched this series of Baptiste yet but I definitely will.

My garden also has lots of blackberries growing because of my limited time energy and knowledge to make more of it. Yesterday dd and 2 cousins picked the ripe berries from the front they have put a large pot in the freezer and eaten lots more 😁 in a day or 2 the next wave will be ripe in the front garden, the back garden is usually a couple of weeks behind, but it looks like we will have a good harvest, which will cut down our fruit bill.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Blackberry gin, blackberry vodka, blackberry whisky, blackberry rum - I do not think any of those actually constitute the dreaded c-word (c00king - you have dirty minds....). Plus = dirt cheap homemade (other c-word) presents. The nice thing about berries is they freeze so helpfully, they really are the gentlemen of fruits. Can you tell I have started thinking about December? It is raining over here, and I am bored of cleaning for the next hour, so the mind tends to wander in strange directions......4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!
