new phone finally
I finally found enough of a push with this travelling and side hustle promo to upgrade my phone - bought cash here (well on cc but will pay it off in full next month) I did save about £150 from UK prices but am in need for the social media, great cameras to take pics for side hustle, it is also very tax deductible ... and I have spent last year carrying battery packs around to enhance the battery on my old phone (bought secondhand online 3.5 years ago) so actually I am very excited. The editing and much bigger screen as well edges me into almost a tablet (which I dont have anymore) First new phone in 8 years - rest have been all bought secondhand... I also went large and bought a 1TB - planning to film loads, do SM with it etc.
Currently its uploading from old phone - even when I was in the shop I checked I wasnt rushing into an unnecessary purchase but thinking about this upgrade since last year,. Cant wait to try out the new tech as my last phone is 4 models and 4 years older.
I did look at the 0 finance deals before I went away but they would have pushed me into a new deal - I am on sim only inc Europe roaming free- I have bought an esim card for this trip so not using UK data.
I am also going to a fabulous tourist spot this weekend and want amazing pics and video to help me push parts of the side hustle.
Today it both rained super hard and then went super hot - so much my (old) phone overheated in 20 mins..

Great on the phone. I'm thinking mine needs upgrading. I also carry two battery packs if I leave the house for a day and mine overheated yesterday whilst using google maps and then started to open random apps. I wanted to know where I was rather than my current power usage with Scottish Power. It was quite funny once I worked out how to get where I was going.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -

I got a new phone last year after my battery would be charged fully in the morning and dead by 3pm - it drove me mad as I missed a few important calls. I love mine and it was worth it (not a big brand though, I'm not brand loyal i bought a 1 plus which was well priced with a discount
) Enjoy playing with it!
