Charge back

Try your bank for a chargeback - you've got nothing to lose.
But I do know that it has been explained on here before that so long as your supplier can demonstrate the goods have been "delivered" (and that even includes being delivered to the wrong address) then a chargeback will likely fail. (I know - it doesn't sound right).1 -
Only option i seem to have got now. I just dont understand why ask/wait fr the official police report to turn around and say its nothing they can do?

As said before, it might be that they've read the report and don't believe it's their liability.valleyboy22 said:Only option i seem to have got now. I just dont understand why ask/wait fr the official police report to turn around and say its nothing they can do?1 -

Ah but... what would born_again say?
And if I'm wrong I'm sure born_again will explain.
Sadly Amazon will have proof of delivery. A Chargeback (which is over & above your consumer rights. It is based on card regulations) which state that if it can be proved item delivered, then it will be rejected. I would also expect Amazon to close your account.
You can try & may get lucky. But again watch your Amazon acc, and expect it to be closed.
As well if Amazon fail to contest & you get to keep the funds. They still have a legal right to claim the funds back via other means.
Cretainly report to police & get CRN. While they may not do anything. It does help your case.Life in the slow lane1 -
Try emailing a complaint to customerservicesdirector@amazon.co.ukI've done this a couple of times over the many years i've been an Amazon customer when something has gone wrong and customer services have been unable to help. Normally had contact made the same day and the situation always resolved.Might not work for you, but worth exploring all avenues before going down the chargeback route.1
