No 'For Sale Sign' red flag?

I am a first time buyer & due to look at a property on Thursday. This will be the first property I have viewed to buy so its a whole new experience. I have done a little research & it appears that the property was sold in Feb 2019 for 175k. It was put back on the market this June for 190k & today it's been dropped to 180k. One thing that I have just realised Is that there's no For Sale Sign on the property. The property is at the start of a cul-de-sac but still visible from the main road so I don't think that is the reason. Is this me just being overly suspicious or could they have had some issues with the neighbours?

We recently moved, we did not have a for sale sign or a sold sign. We'd previously (10m earlier) had a sale fall through and had come off the market, I didn't have a problem with any neighbours but didn't want to have all the conversations about selling again etc.
We've viewed several properties without signs.

Most of the properties i've viewed over the last year didn't have for sale boards. I didn't really think about it until now.
Agents probably don't bother because they're confident in this housing boom or they know all viewers will come from Rightmove and very few from driving by.
Another possibility is new build developments often have restrictive covenants prohibiting sale boards, as developers don't like it while they're still selling plots.2 -
House a few doors down from me went on the market a month or two back. No "for sale" board up, and the first I knew of it was when chatting to another local. From what I can gather, the vendor accepted an offer within days, so the EA probably didn't get time to put a board up.

Some believe they're more likely to be targeted by burglars with a sale sign. Not sure if it's fact or fiction, but definitely a reason.

Our nextdoor neighbour has recently sold her property. Only by chance when browsing on Rightmove did we even become aware it was For Sale.0

When I come to sell my dad's house - there won't be a 'For Sale' sign on the front. There are plenty of avenues to promote it without sticking a board up.0

There's no need to advertise it this way really in this market.
Waiting lists, mailing lists, rightmove, online etc. It's just another expense a vendor might not want.Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....0 -
They are not really advertising the property. They are advertising the agent. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?6

There was no for sale board for the property I purchased.
The way I see it is we are in the age of the internet, there's no looking in EA windows to see what's for sale, or driving / walking round areas to see what has a for sale board. It's all at our fingertips and from the comfort of our own homes. An internet search for 'property for sale road, city' or 'property for sale area' will produce results.
You're worrying about nothing in that regard.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1
