Ask your landscaper where they got them from. Or, do you have a nearby builder's merchants that the landscaper was likely to have used? Call in there and see what they have.Basically, track down the make

Natural stone is never going to provide a uniform, unblemished finished. For that you would need to use ceramic tiles or similar.

I've had a similar problem with a brick step I did on a job last year. I used some old bricks that the Lady had lying around in the garden for years, all different sizes. She asked me if I could do something different, makes the bricks go like this(spreading her hands out). I said do you mean Herring bone. She replied 'no I hate that, something else. Anyway I have to go now, you know what I mean'.
I took a chance and did basket weave and luckily she liked it, but the efflorescence worried after a few weeks. It's gone now after a year.

It is a driveway I will get over it, and I paid mega bucks.Did mine with Marshall brindle earlier in the year. No signs of efflorescence yet..30m² for around £1200.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.1 -

So much to read, so little time.1 -
Essex your new patio looks amazing! To me the pattern is attractive, it also looks like rain water is drawing natural salts. Really well laid to. Result!

Remind me to use porcelain next time! 🥴
When you and your guests are being plastered in casualty, you'll explain that the previous patio was not at all slippery, but there was some efflorescence.
