forgot to include clearscore -3....Include i.e. Not Subtract

These are recorded from various cra's 7 is total, various cra's record and report differently.

    Simples.

p.s.VM will become 8 regardless of decision, which cra reports 1st is anyone's guess
You wouldn't include Clearscore as you already included Equifax.
I was posting latest cra's  recorded searches, though I could have continued with checkmyfile as they include all 3 +Crediva.
    Much prefer Experian this year.
Clearscore isn't a CRA, they use data from Equifax.  That's why you don't count both of them.
    from clearscore

    Hard searches tab

3 listed, which i referred to.
Replenished CRA Reports.2020 Nissan Leaf 128-149 miles top charge. Savings depleted. VM Stream tv M250 Volted to M350 then M500 since returned to 1gb

But you counted Equifax here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/78515585/#Comment_78515585

    It's one or the other.

Is it just me, or is this thread quite circular in nature?

For what it's worth, I was (instantly) accepted by Virgin for a 0% 25 month term BT credit card last year and they have now just upped my credit limit. So far, I'm really pleased. And I have two other credit cards as well - they're both paid off and now just hanging around . . .

Some may scoff but I am quite proud of this achievement because it's not long since my DRO dropped off my credit reports. Since my DRO ended I have never been overdrawn or missed any payments. Oh, sorry, I'm hijacking this thread and blowing my own trumpet now!

But it's just going round and round and there's no end in sight. Just sayin'.   :)

Of course it is, as all Dandytf threads are.  Until they understand that 4+6+3=13 and not 7, we're going nowhere.

There's a bit of confusion here maybe - as there are various banks that place hard searches on different CRA's - although the majority seem to appear on Experian.

I suppose the CLEARER question would be:

How many financial institutions have left a hard search footprint on one or more of your credit files per application in the last twelve months?

So for example (and I'm making these stats up):

    1. Applied Lloyds bank credit card Aug 20 - 1 HS (Hard search) experian - 1 HS equifax (2 searches - but ONE product)
    2. Applied Natwest bank credit card Sep 20 - 1 HS experian - 1 HS Transunion
    3. Applied Santander bank credit card Dec 20 - 1 HS equifax
    4. Applied Capital One credit card Feb 21 - 1 HS experian - 1 HS equifax - 1 HS Transunion
    5. Applied Halifax Credit card Jun 21 - 1 HS Transunion
    6. Applied Virgin Credit card Aug 21 - 1 HS Experian - 1 HS Transunion

That would be 11 actual hard searches across the various CRA's - but only 6 products applied for. 6 is the more important piece of info that I'd be looking for.

So how many individual products has dandytf applied for that have left a HS anywhere/everywhere over the last 12 months (to include the current application for a Virgin card)?

I've already said that they've applied for at least 10 credit products in the last 6 months.  The number, whatever it is, is no less than 10.
  • I had a 'hard' search on my MSE credit club file but nothing on my Clearscore file (still nothing on Clearscore to date) back in 2018 and that was BMW finance.

I'm familiar with the fact that not every financial institution reports to every CRA but one thing I am certain of is 10 hard searches in the last 6 months is................................. well, fill in the space yourselves!

How many hard searches are there on your files now?
thanks this the the question i was replying to and referred to various cra's.
Only got myequifax access fixed yesterday after their servers were switched or upgraded recently.
ref clearscore- I had that in views and added 3 recorded hard searches, which seems to have been followed up with one useful point and a few unnecessary points.

I had also thought, maybe some other mser's could have asked how many cards do i have.

Hard Searches are today showing 7 total.
