yup thought showing the imei no's was a bit dodgy. Its a big no no at some of the mobile sites ive visited recently. Not entirely sure why though. Anyways, top bloke for finding the unlock codes for people, not many free services left nowadays!

Just got a 6230i IMEI : 357097003185456 locked to T-Mobile UK

I unlocked my 7210 a couple of months ago and it worked first time, this one is proving to be a pain in the a$$

Need the 6230i to be unlocked for a US sim card when I go to the states.

When it says phone restricted,
press "undo."
It will ask for a restriction code
and enter the code in to the box
on screen
input this code.

Best way is to PM your imei to one of the unlockers on this thread.

Go to http://unlock.nokiafree.org/download.php downloads Nokia free calculator unlocker 3.10

launch program enter the following info:-

NOKIA
DCT4 (EXPERT ONLY)
ENTER IMEI (PRESS *#06# ON PHONE TO GET THIS REQUIRED NUMBER)
UNITED KINGDOM
02-CELLNET (IF THIS IS THE NETWORK IT IS LOCKED ON)
ASIC 2
CUSTOM - 32806

The from the list of codes it has given you, use the code ending +7#

Insert the WRONG sim card.
When it says phone restricted,
press "undo."
It will ask for a restriction code
and enter the code in to the box
on screen
in the code, you will also notice the p, w and + symbols...
to get the p symbol, press the * key 3 times within 1 second
to get the w symbol, press the * key 4 times within 1second
to get the + symbol, press the * key 2 times within 1 second

input this code.

It will say 'sim restriction removed', with a little luck.
The skill in unlocking by code is knowing the Asic and Box serial settings and this changes from model to model.
