You cannot amend your post but the administration staff can alter it or remove it
The lack of an LBC is irrelevant , proceed as usual , same as in any other case , so proceed according to the post above by KeithP3 -
Well you'd mention it in the defence facts if you haven't put the defence in yet.
My goodness if you got that letter you should have responded to make sure your old address was erased. Did the claim go to an old address because you didn't reply or did it come to the new address?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Came directly to new address. My house was broken into few months ago whilst asleep, wallet and car was stolen. I updated my address when I ordered replacement licence so I'm guessing that's how they've managed to reach me.Coupon-mad said:Did the claim go to an old address because you didn't reply or did it come to the new address?
No recent letters were sent to previous address that I'm aware of.2 -
I did notice that there was no actual pay machine on the car park which could be a defence point. You had to go across the road to use the pay machine. I could not see one across the road for that matter.
Usually if there is a pay machine with a large "pay here" sign over the top it does alert you to the fact that you may have to pay.

Am I right in saying that it's worth finding out if ECP actually own the land? As if they don't I could contest their rights or is that a mythSnakes_Belly said:I did notice that there was no actual pay machine on the car park which could be a defence point. They are probably contracted by the landowner or leaseholder to manage the car park. You will see the contract between the landowner and the PPC but that will not be until they send their witness statement. You will need to post that on the forum because there can been issues with the landowner contract.Yawn1 said:

No they didn’t. They can’t ask the DVLA twice. They’ve done a soft trace (this is allowed) that finds things like alternative addresses attached to banking records.Yawn1 said:

Let go of the car once I formally changed addresses. I have two questions:Coupon-mad said:I hope you updated your logbook as well as your licence if you still own the car!
I'm about to send SAR - should I note that this in response to Claim (and attach form) or just simply send SAR and attach another letter which confirms my identity?
Secondly: Is it a fair or credible defence if the driver if, for whatever reason, the registered keeper /drive never had sight of the PCNs initially sent?

I'm wondering if a SAR should be sent to CST as well considering they clearly hold info on me0
