no idea but I would guess that the 7 is a later model than the 6 !
would be worth looking at the samsung website to find out before buying an old model tv.0 -
shirty,
I got the TV for £850 including the stand from Currys. I don't think it will be any cheaper than that after the sales, and sales majorly effect high street retail more than ya random electrical websites which offer the cheaper prices anyway. I believe the cheapest online is about £750 from a shop i've never heard of before... so that prob won't come down in the sales and its still not a trusted place.
Currys has the TV for £1000 and the stand for £200 but I managed to barter them down. If i didn't/couldn't I would have definitely waited till Jan, but I don't think I'd make any value by doing that with the price I got it for.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

Also I believe the M87 was discontinued?!? I'm not sure but there's no information on the Samsung website, plus its unavailable from most major retailers!
The M86 is a trusted and well reviewed set. I've got mine on behind me now, well worth the money![FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

grrr and now I can't program my Sky+ remote to control the TV.. the 0646 (or 646 code) doesn't seem to be working *Sigh*[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

What happened was, Currys price £1000 + £200
Dixons was £899 + £200 or something like that
But I managed to get it basically £850 including stand...

A bit late but the M87 was available in most retailers and the M86 was special to Currys.
We have had the M87 for 4-5 months now and are really pleased with it. The blackness is awesome and when I see other people's TVs they just don't compare.
Incidentally we got a really good quality wall bracket from Amazon for around £30, and it is still on the wall - that ad with the TC falling off started just as hubby finished fitting it - lol.NO EXCUSES - THIS YEAR IT'S PERSONAL..........0
