Dysfunctional O2 Customer |Services
On the first attempt, sending to Mark.Evans@o2.com (Address obtained from Telefonica site), I received the reply "Please note this inbox is no longer monitored. If you have a customer complaint please contact CEO's_office@O2.com
Sending to CEO's_office@O2.com I received "Undeliverable"
Any ideas what his functioning E-mail address is ?
"Dear Mr Evans,
I am writing to you as I am unable to resolve this issue using the conventional channels provided by 02.
Please would you tell me why I am no longer able to access my mobile voicemail account or to reset the PIN for Voicemail access.
I’m currently advised that I have 3 voicemails stored on the o2 service which I’m no longer able to access.
I had previously attempted to resolve this issue myself, on two occasions, by sending the text “RESET” to 80**** and it failed to work.
Subsequently, I have tried on two successive occasions to resolve this issue by speaking on the phone to your customer Services and have been cut-off on both occasions during the calls.
Most recently your Customer Service Department, after I requested that they attempt to reset the PIN, told me that the default pin was no longer available !
I am currently using a Blackberry 9330 (Purchased from O2 in 2011) to access the O2 PAY&G service. I have been an O2 customer for the last 20 years. The phone has been in regular use (Low volume use, mainly texts and the occasional incoming and outgoing call), has been maintained with a positive balance at all times and was topped-up on 30/7/2021 with £10.
Since experiencing this problem with voicemail, as a precaution, I’ve now (Today) turned off voicemail.
You will appreciate that, as an Extremely Clinically Vulnerable NHS patient, access to my mobile phone and voicemail is essential.
I will be glad to learn to what you will be doing to restore full function, including voicemail, to my mobile phone.
Regards"
Is this the complete antithesis of "Customer Service" ? Or is this the way its designed to work ?

I think there's a typo - should be lower case o2 - not capital O2Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Email addresses are not case-sensitive.
At least the domain name bit never is.
And the name bit is normally down-shifted by email servers.
Except US federal ones which get up-shifted.
Email addresses are hardly ever case-sensitive.1 -

Email addresses are hardly ever case-sensitive.All parts of email addresses, domains and whatever else are not case sensitive. An Internet address is only case sensitive for everything after the domain name. - so https://www.bbc.co.uk/aboutthebbc/ is not the same as https://www.bbc.co.uk/Aboutthebbc/ for example. The example on US federal is just how they've configured it. It makes no difference.0 -
