Dyson V11 Absolute is crap. What else?

Had a bagless electrolux for years and finally managed to convince SWMBO that we should get a Henry. Best purchase ever - my only regret is I didn't push harder for the George.
Apart from the far superior cleaning the clincher was that it doesn't need to be lugged around so is much easier to use overall.YNWA

Irrelevant maybe, as not battery powered (yet) but there is still only one make of vacuum cleaner that rules: Sebo.
Works well, also amazingly easy to take apart and fix, and spare parts are reasonably priced.1 -
I see that Vax is pushing their models..."What does that mean?"It means I hate stupid adverts that ask questions then answers them. When I was in the advertising industry in the 60s to 80s there were excellent creative teams coming up with superb adverts. Nowadays the standard of TV advertising is below sub-standard."What does that mean?"It means I'd never buy a Vax.0

Tbh the original (edit) item mentioned would not be on my purchase list.
How did our parents survive without diyson vacuum suckers (which require maintenance) diy son products were manufactured locally but that seems to have gone outside the Eu. May be wrong thou others will confirm.
Diyson make some remarkable products, They have a known name Maybe they should get into renewable heating products for the Uk market and beyond.
:Others will disagree but i am old and have seen it all before...

I’ve got a Shark NZ801 (corded) and it’s brilliant. The ‘lift away’ sections make it really easy to do skirtings, corners etc and it has a really long flex. Bagless, I have tried quite a few vacuums over the years, it’s probably the single item I’ve had to replace most often, and this is far and away the best.Life is mainly froth and bubble: two things stand like stone. Kindness in another’s trouble, courage in your own.0

Just to add to the discussion I have Miele cylinder and cord less models. Miele cordless has shortish battery and very small dust holder so needs frequent emptying. If you can live with that, I love that its is a 30 second whizz around downstairs and suction is as good as /better than my old miele.
I would never ever ever ever buy a d***n again!0
