Home Accountz Online Backup

I think that's unlikely - it sounds like the code is working, but it has found some remnant of the online backup in your setup. Build 210719 removed the online backup from the setup menus, so something in your data is triggering it. All I can suggest is that you do a clean install of Accountz build 210719 to an empty directory and restore from a backup.0

I hope somebody can help with my particular problem.
I love using Home Accountz but I am stuck.
Last week, my laptop started coming apart. That is the top part of the case was coming away from the bottom part of my case. There is a 1cm gap between the two. Advice on the forum suggested the battery was 'gone' and turning on the computer was a fire risk. So I stopped using the computer that instant.
Whilst I have a backup of my data files, I foolishly do not have a backup of the Home Accountz installation file.
I now have a new computer and am hoping to install Home Accountz on it.
I went to the Home Accountz site (as suggested earlier in this thread) and the webpage says sorry I have been blocked. This message was put up by Cloudflare. The suggested resolution was to contact the owner of the site.
One potential solution is to give the old laptop to a computer specialist to remove the hard drive and make it available to me in some kind of caddy.
Would anyone be willing to share their Home Accountz installation file on say something like dropbox?
Any thoughts on how I can install a copy of Home Accountz?
PS: I did think of contacting Accountz staff through Linkedin but not sure any of them would be able to help so am shelving that solution for the moment.0 -
Hi, I'm new on here.I have used Home Accountz V3 for many years and I have successfully reinstalled it a few time over the years when I have moved from one computer to another but am unable to do so now with my latest computer (an HP Laptop). When I run the original installation 'install_home_accountz_v3_win_64bit.exe' I just get the error "Could not download content files". My data file (HomeAccountz-Current.haz) is on my NAS (Network Attached Server) which is accessible from both my old computer and my new laptop,I tried just copying the entire folder 'C:\Program Files\Home Accounts_v3' from my old computer to my laptap and just running HAZ from there but get the error "Unable to start application, Database restore required."I have read that HAZ runs using Java but could find no evidence of java on my laptop (nor my old computer for that matter) so I installed version 8 but it has made no difference. Can anyone help me get Home Accountz to be installed on my laptop?

I eventually got Home Accountz installed on another PC just over a year ago by using the Original Installation CD. I had to copy the contents of it to a USB stick first as the PC doesn't have an optical drive.
The installer took me to a Home Accountz web page that doesn't seem to load without the original installer from the disc though unfortunately0 -
Can anyone remind me how to change the default back-up file location (BAK) from a User to another location?0
