The modern way of mugging somebody. As long as there's gullible people the crooks will continue to milk this profitable avenue.3

Same here I did get a wallet which did not cost me anything but still no refund, only $150 in which will be nothing to them.
I will post on anywhere I see to warn people off CCG Trade as they are 100% Scammers.
any positive posts do not believe especially those that say they got a refund.0 -
BTCGrey said:I have done ever so brief checks of these Bitcoin Wallets, but to withdraw it seems you have to pay more to obtain this service. So it was like a scam-leading-a-scam and I did not want to risk any further loss. But yes, no idea which way to proceed with it.Write it off and forget about it. The money is gone.As I knowingly used this service I very much doubt my credit card company would be able to assist in reclaiming the funds so...If you paid Coinitix.com for cryptocurrency and they haven't supplied it, you have a section 75 claim against your credit card company. If you paid Coinitix.com for cryptocurrency and they did supply it, but the value went down, you would have no claim. But there is no evidence that they have supplied it.This scam appears to be trying to avoid chargebacks by claiming they've supplied Bitcoin but the customer needs to jump through some hoops to get it. But ultimately that's rubbish; if they can convert GBP to Bitcoin they can convert Bitcoin to GBP the other way. Which means that if they refuse to refund you there was never any Bitcoin in the first place.Anyway, if you make a section 75 claim the worst that can happen is they reject it, you go to the Ombudsman, and the Ombudsman sides with the issuer, in which case the only thing you have lost is time. The other good thing about a section 75 claim is that you will be doing your bit to help other potential victims; section 75 claims will cause your credit card issuer to block payments to the scam.3
