Hi,

Im after some help please .. naively i signed up for a online trading account and didn't do my research well enough but basically invested £200.

No after making a few quid i want out as its clearly not for me but im struggling to get any traction/help from the portal i use. If i send a support request it basically turns into a sales pitch to buy something else or continue investing.. but i want out.

To get out i need a 'wallet' to transfer to from my trading account .. has anyone had any experience in setting one up that doesn't need a chunk of money to set one up?

Thanks for any advice and please keep the negative comments to a minimum .. ive realised this was a mistake and taking steps to sort it.

thanks Andy

    What portal? What Currency?

It’s probably a scam but without the above we can’t check or offer advice.
  • @MX5huggy the portal is CCG trade (which is where i deposited the £200 to trade) im guessing its in USD but not sure if thats the answer youre answer to be able to provide advice?

Can't find it.  Is that the company name?  As much info as possible would help.  What was the research that revealed this company/portal?  CCG Trade Ltd - for example - was dissolved on 07/04/2020.  There's a company called CCG Trader?  You probably can't post links but might be able to let us know so we can piece them together.

UK phone number but no registered address or companies house registration number on the website to look for director details or filed accounts history. Even then it could be a clone. If they will not facilitate a withdrawal without trying to take more money draw your own conclusions. At least you have only lost £200 could have been a lot worse. Beware of anyone asking for money to help you recover your loss. If you gave them your card etc details you might want to make your bank aware.

Well, that link gets me nowhere.  There is a ccg-trade.site - which comes up as unsecure and appears to be trying to scam you into thinking you are investing in Tesla.  A couple or trustpilot reviews also returned, where the reviewers are having exactly the same issue as you.
It sounds very scammy if they are not making it easy for you to get your money out.  You may not actually have any profit or the crypto you think you have.  I think this one is for more crypto savvy people than me I'm afraid.
    I tried!!!

I was very careful not to say that due to the occasional threats of litigation and threads being removed.
Update - thanks for editing it out.
