Airport Car Park Extension

Options
Hello All

I have booked a period of parking online at a "short stay" carpark in stanstead. I'm now not sure if I will make it back within that time. I was initially thinking I could just make a fresh booking to extend the original booking. Their t&c say that I would need to pay £60 per day for additional parking but I can't work out if that would apply if I simply left the vehicle there but purchased online an additional period to cover the extra time.

I guess I can - harder from here though.

I was just hoping someone else might have done something similar.

Very much depends on airport/car park operator/timing

I can't think of a time where I've been genuinely delayed on a flight and I've had to pay extra - even during Icelandic volcano where car was at Manchester for an extra 6 days

Your issue might be the 'short stay' element - can you change it to one of the mid-stay locations and take a hit on the extra 5 mins to get to it to avoid the potential £60 shock

Wish I could but I'm away at the moment so no access to car.

In which case you’re best to ring/message them - not sure who STN operator is but Manchester are really responsive

Well I just rang and it says no agents are working the telephones and they are only responding to email. I sent an email yesterday and still no response.

If I have two bookings covering a continuous period, surely they couldn't sting me for £60 per day could they?
