Some of my family are off to Cornwall today including two teenagers and their girlfriends in one car. Three cars in total including one with a disabled passenger. Which are the hotspots? Marazion and Fistral Beach are ones that I have seen on here.

You have to be careful everywhere sadly. It’s getting quite stressful making sure you comply with all the terms and conditions.

The obvious would be to keep their proof of payment/ticket safe for some considerable time afterwards.

The Council car parks tend to have a clause “If you cannot pay do not park” and might not accept a faulty machine plea - despite the fact it has a duty to maintain them.

Hope they have a lovely PCN free time!

Sennen Cove is an Armtrac hotspot.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Please post your draft PoPLA appeal here. The other thread is for PoPLA results.

Please also complain to your MP about the government consultation, especially the part where it proposes to legalise the fake add on debt recovery fees.

We'll take a look but you will get more response by not posting a link, but instead copying it out here in a couple of replies so it doesn't involve people clicking on links.

Glad to see you said you have done the Government Consultation.

Also, I hope you've also registered for the Group Action, against the DVLA (open to anyone with a PCN since 2018?).  Gotta be in it to win it!  Nothing to lose, and it's genuine.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

  • Initial Parking have submitted their "evidence" to POPLA. Essentially 30 pages of photos signs and rules.

No crucial employee body camera video footage that I specifically requested (as everything hinges on that), and not a word back about the misleading pay before or pay at anytime signage.

Says I have 7 days to "comment" ... any advise on what to do next??
